Podium runs a number of training programs and courses enabling potential instructors to acquire the knowledge, skills and confidence necessary to teach swimming to a diverse range of people.
All courses are approved by the Federal Government and endorsed by Swimming Australia or Royal Life Saving. Upon the successful completion of a course run by Podium, potential instructors will have the competencies to teach at most swim schools throughout Australia. Participating in one of these courses will allow you to provide vital services to local communities.
Teacher of Learners with a Disability
Focuses on the skills you will need to teach swimmers with a range of physical, emotional and intellectual disabilities safely and effectively.
The Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate, HLTAID001, provides you with the practical skills to perform CPR according the Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines.
The Provide First Aid Certificate, HLTAID003, is nationally accredited providing participants with the qualification to be a First Aid representative in many workplaces and other required situations.

The competence to deliver basic squad sessions that develop the technique of novice Swimmers and those still acquiring the skills needed to transition into competition.
